Green UX
Start by questioning the feature, not by optimising it.
01. Start with the need.
- Define the user need before adding a feature. Remove duplicate journeys and content that no longer serves a purpose.
- Keep navigation clear, forms short and essential information easy to find.
- Let people choose to play video or load substantial optional content. Avoid autoplay and endless feeds.
- Consider older devices and limited connections from the start.
